Concept of liberal democracy and the problem of erosion of human rights were debated and of course the topics, the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU and the European Convention on Human Rights created a substantial part of the lectures as well.

Friday was dedicated entirely to Jan Komarek and the general course. Students discussed the challenges posed by current developments in the world to the European democracy, judicial system and fundamental rights.
