Meeting with CLS Board

Summer school 2017 is now over..
How was it? 15 motivated participants from 12 countries (including the USA), 9 lecturers (from Oxford, LSE and many other universities and institutions), 2 weeks, great deal of EU law and much fun. New lecturers
Two more lecturers will join us in the mountains this year: Professor Monica Claes (University of Maastricht) will talk about the role of constitutional courts in promoting or opposing EU values, and Professor Dimitry Kochenov (University of Groningen) will discuss the rule of law in the EU. more

2017 Lecturers: Agustín José Menéndez
Agustín José Menéndez is Profesor Contratado Doctor Permanente I3 at the Universidad de León, Spain. Menéndez was researcher at ARENA from 2000 - 2003, and is now adjoint researcher at ARENA within the framework of the RECON project. more

2017 Lecturers: Barbara Havelková
Barbara Havelková is an Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic on issues of gender and law. Previously, Barbara held posts at University of Cambridge (Emmanuel College) and Oxford (Balliol). She worked for Clifford Chance Prague, trained at the Legal Service of the European Commission and in the Chambers of AG Poiares Maduro at the Court of Justice of the European Union. more
