There is no further need to introduce Miguel Poiares Maduro as one of the most significant specialists in the area of EU Law. We are really delighted to announce his participation as the keynote speaker at 2022 edition of our summer school.
Professor Maduro is currently a part-time professor at the European University Institute and a former director of the School of Transnational Governance. Between 2003 a 2009, professor Maduro served as Advocate General at the European Court of Justice. After his departure from the European Court of Justice, professor Maduro was Minister Deputy to the Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development in Portugal or the Chairman of the Governance and Review Committee for FIFA.

Professor Maduro already attended as the keynote speaker of our summer school in 2019 edition as he delivered several lectures regarding sports law. We are really pleased that professor Maduro accepted our invitation and that we will meet him in the Giant Mountains again!
